European Schoolnet, as the eTwinning Central Support Service, just launched a revised version of the eTwinning portal. Since its launch in 2005, eTwinning has been continuously improved, this revision confirms the position of eTwinning as a community-oriented portal.

European Schoolnet invites schools and teacher training institutions to take part in the 2008 eLearning Awards competition and present their best projects of using ICT in teaching and learning with an international audience. If you teach in a primary school, we invite you to share your ICT successes with others and join a new Europe-wide community of practice. European Schoolnet is conducting research on behalf of the European Commission into the effective use of ICT in primary schools. Eurocompetition, the poster competition for kids to celebrate the euro tenth anniversary, is now open! Young people from the euro area and Slovakia are invited to join in the euro's 10-year celebrations by designing a poster on the theme "10 years of the European Union's Economic and Monetary Union (EMU) and the euro" and uploading it to the online gallery at www.eurocompetition.net

CALIBRATE
